5. Measure Coverage on a Representative Panel

Measure the known coated area, then measure the amount of mixed material before and after spraying:
Mixed coverage rate = mixed material used / coated formwork area

6. Set Acceptance Before and After Casting
The spray result should be reviewed twice. First, inspect the form face before concrete placement. Then inspect the concrete and the formwork after the real stripping sequence.
Before casting
Confirm that:
- the formwork is clean and suitable;
- the film is continuous and even;
- corners and joints are covered;
- no puddles, runs, or heavy overlap zones remain;
- the waiting time matches the approved process.
After stripping
Confirm that:
- the concrete releases without sticking or tearing;
- color is acceptable and consistent across the panel;
- there is no unusual oily residue or dark shadowing;
- bugholes and drag marks have not increased;
- the form face remains in an acceptable condition for reuse.

7. Define an Operating Range, Not Just One Target
One successful panel is not enough to establish a production standard. Repeat the trial on representative formwork systems and, when relevant, under different weather or panel-temperature conditions.
The final instruction should include:
- a target application result;
- an acceptable operating range;
- a stop-and-check trigger;
- the person responsible for approval;
- a retest rule when product, equipment, formwork, or weather changes.
The range should be based on repeatable release and appearance. A lower consumption number is not a success if it produces sticking, rework, or rejected fair-faced surfaces.
